Lifestyle Guidance |In Jennifer's words, " Health and Wellness is a gift. It truly is a mental construct the way we look at staying fit and obtaining wellness and society has a big role in that. Loving our bodies, is the first step to break this toxic construct. It's first loving our bodies as they are, before the dieting, before the big change. Its in showing love and respect for what our bodies provide for us. This is the first step to wholeness that I teach my clients.
Wellness Experience | Extensive experience allows me to guide you. My clients success stories reflect my ability to, time after time, help clients improve their health and achieve a higher level of life satisfaction in all aspects of life, mentally, physically, emotionally, relationally.
I hold a Clinical Exercise Science Degree from Grand Valley State University, Michigan, USA and worked several years hands on in the field of physical therapy from inpatient rehabilitation to outpatient physical therapy. This experience showed me how to always teach proper body mechanics when performing specialized movements and to keep in mind every clients physical condition so any kind of injury is minimized. This is what I like to call proactive and preventative training. I also have training in Aquatic therapy techniques. Aquatic therapy encompasses very healing movements due to the hydrostatic pressure of the water on joints, tendons and ligaments. Aquatic therapy is the perfect active recovery. I recommend doing this therapy at least once a week. From my high school athletes to my senior clients dealing with joint pain, this style of therapy and lifestyle shift will change your life.
I am also a Muscle PHD Certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Certified Instructor. A lot of my exercise plans consist of a mix of training. From high intensity interval training HIIT, to sculpting functional movements inspired by Pilates, to even breath work and meditating, my programs are designed to evolve you as a person, incorporating mind, body and soul.
Coaching Options | I like to give all of my clients options. All of my plans are customizable. Depending on your personal goals you have the option of weight loss, weight maintenance, weight gain or booty gains. All of my programs are at least 1 month, topping out at 3 months. I do want to also point out that all of my plans can be specialized to the location of where your working out, for example a gym, at home with minimum equipment , in a home gym, in a hotel etc.
You also have the ability of requesting a personalized meal prep plan that can be customizable to your dietary restrictions for example, pescatarian, vegetarian, vegan, keto, etc.
For your convenience I am currently based in Tulum, Mexico. We can schedule in person training sessions if you are a 45 minute radius from Tulum.
I will also do in person training in other cities and countries upon special requests.
